I’m disappointed by this weeks Theme pack at Daily Niche Idea
Today I was going over the content of this weeks Theme Pack at Daily Niche Idea and I’m so disappointed.
When you publish PLR material you can either go the easy way and just blindly resell PLR content that you’ve acquired.
Or you can go the equally inexpensive way and hire somebody to write your PLR content for you for next to nothing and then take the poorly researched material complete with grammar and spelling errors and sell it.
Or you can go for quality content by evaluating each and every PLR article you write or hire somebody to write to make sure that it’s correct and in an understandable language.
So when I looked through the Theme Pack today I was very surprised that the files were timestamped 2006.
Now, if you write timeless PLR articles – articles that are equally useful today as they will be in 5 or 10 years – the age doesn’t matter.
But when you release PLR content about technology for instance then you have got to do it while the content is still correct and timely.
When I looked further into the material it talked about making sure I had the latest version of a specific software program - “Version 4.7 or higher” - but today that piece of software is version 8 and have gone through numerous versions.
So essentially I’m sitting with a PLR product that I don’t want to promote because it’s outdated. And I can’t use it as the foundation of my own articles because it’s not up to date.
I wouldn’t even use it as a free bonus if I had a site related to that niche because that would completely undermine my authority.
So, pay attention to the PLR content you get your hands on so you don’t end up looking like a fool when you release it under your own name.
P.S. Daily Niche Idea is a free resource so it didn’t hurt my wallet - only my pride - to see that kind of low quality PLR material
